Overview
Otalase — from "oto" + "etalase" — is a white-label catalog website for car and motorcycle dealers who, until now, have only sold through Instagram. It gives each dealer their own landing page, a filterable vehicle catalog, and a self-serve admin panel — an online showroom that lives behind their IG bio link.
The challenge
Dealers post stock as feed and stories, where units sink under newer posts. Buyers can't filter by brand, price, year, or CC, and constantly ask "is this still available?". Otalase is deliberately not a marketplace and processes no transactions — every negotiation still happens over WhatsApp. The product's job is to be the digital storefront and the lead engine, across three very different segments: used cars, used motorcycles, and premium showrooms (BMW, Porsche, moge) that demand an exclusive look.
My role
- Own the product end to end — from PRD through build to go-to-market.
- Build the catalog, landing pages, and admin panel on a modern Next.js stack.
- Design the white-label, one-site-per-dealer architecture with themeable templates.
Approach
The catalog and admin share a Supabase backend, with forms validated through Zod + React Hook Form so dealers can update stock from their phone in minutes — no technical skill required. Ten themeable templates cover everything from a budget used-bike lot to a premium European showroom, each deployable as its own subdomain. Motion adds polish without getting in the way of the lead path.

What I built
- Vehicle catalog with brand / price / year / CC filters and real-time Available · Booking · Sold status.
- Dealer landing pages with their own branding for instant credibility.
- Admin panel for self-serve stock management — upload a unit as easily as an IG post.
- Credit simulation and one-tap WhatsApp hand-off to close the lead.

Under the hood
- Next.js 16 + TypeScript with a Tailwind CSS design system.
- Supabase for data and storage behind the catalog and admin.
- Zod + React Hook Form for validated forms throughout, covered by unit tests.
- White-label delivery — one themeable site per dealer, deployed per subdomain.
